NPFL Brazilian tactician Everton, Makinwa jostle for El-Kanemi Warriors coaching job. Rafael Everton, a former Akwa United strategist, and Henry Makinwa have submitted applications for the open coaching post with the El-Kanemi Warriors, the Daily Post can exclusively reveal.
Everton, who formerly managed Vandrezzer FC of the Nigeria National League, wants to play in the Nigeria Premier Football League once more.
Vandrezzer FC was also Makinwa’s previous employer.
According to a dependable club source, Makinwa and Brazilian Everton have both expressed interest in taking the managerial position at El Kanemi Warriors.
After a spate of disappointing results, the Maiduguri club fired Abubakar Hassan Mai Zubairu, their former head coach, on Thursday.
Just one victory has been earned by El-Kanemi this season out of nine league games.
