Gabriel Fernando de Jesus was born on 3 April 1997 to the family of Diniz de Jesus and Vera Lucia Jesus in São Paulo, Brazil. Gabriel Jesus is a Brazilian professional footballer. Gabriel Jesus grew up in the neighbourhood of Jardim Peri, in a very poor conditions because his mother was a single mother to him and his two brothers. he first started playing football by organizing street football, he then later joined amateur clubs in the region, his last one being Associação Atlética Anhanguera.
Gabriel Jesus took Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima, as his role model because he inspired him to become a goal scorer. At the age of 9, he started at the Club Pequeninos football school, where from the first training, he showed that he was different, he was a talented player. Most of the boys were low-income and playing in that club was an opportunity to take advantage of the food they were given after playing. But José Francisco Mamede, the team’s coach, was the first to realize that Gabriel Jesus was not there for the food, but to play. He was the best in his category and the most responsible of all, he never missed training. Moreso, he always showed his determination to become a professional and represent the Brazilian national team.
At the age of 14, young Gabriel Jesus was forced to leave the Pequeninos club and started playing in the city’s teenage leagues where he was quickly chosen by a scout to try out for Palmeiras. Gabriel Jesus started his professional career at Palmeiras in 2015. He made a total number of thirty-seven (37) appearances for the club and registered to score seven goals. His goals at the first season were divided into league and national cup.
