Former NPFL top scorer Akuneto on Enyimba’s radar. Chijoke Akuneto, a forward, has been mentioned as a potential transfer target for Enyimba, an eight-time Nigeria Premier Football League winner.
In the NPFL past season, Akuneto led all scorers with 19 goals, which helped Rivers United win the championship for the first time.
The 25-year-old was seen at the Enyimba Stadium on Sunday for Enyimba’s victory over Ahudiya FC in the Abia State Federation Cup final.
