Ex-Eagles striker, Martins’ son signs pro contract with Serie A club

Kevin Mauss-Martins, the son of former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins, has signed his first professional deal with Serie A club Monza.

Mauss-Martins, a striker who has also played for Italy at the U-15 level, is still qualified to represent Nigeria.

The tiny club announced on their official Twitter account that striker Kevin Maussi Martins, who was born in 2005 and made his AC Monza debut in the #spring 2-0 triumph against Padova, has signed his first professional contract.
Before transferring to Monza, the youth attended the AC Milan and Inter Milan academies.
During his time with Inter Milan, his father was well-known.
The 38-year-old with the Nerazzurri scored 28 goals in 88 league games.
