EPL Wout Weghorst makes promise after joining Man Utd. Wout Weghorst, a recent addition to Manchester United, has pledged to give the team “everything” after completing a loan transfer to Old Trafford in January.
Weghorst joins Man United from Burnley on loan for the remainder of the season after playing for the Netherlands at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The 30-year-old was a Besiktas loanee who asked to leave the Turkish team so he could finish his transfer to Manchester United.
Weghorst said on the club’s website after completing his transfer to Man United: “I feel honoured to be joining Manchester United.
I’ve observed United’s growth this year under Erik ten Hag, and I can’t wait to start contributing to the team’s advancement.
“I can guarantee that I will give the club all I have for as long as I am here, no matter what happens in the upcoming months.
I’m looking forward to meeting my new coworkers and getting started right away. I want to thank everyone who helped bring me to this point.
