EPL They’ve 50-50 chance – Carragher predicts title winners after Arsenal, Man City wins. Defending champion Arsenal’s prospects of winning the Premier League this year are “50-50,” according to former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher.
With 63 points through 26 games, the Gunners are in first place, five points ahead of champions Manchester City.
According to Carragher, if Arsenal can hold onto their advantage over City for the ensuing two weeks, they will greatly increase their chances of breaking their 19-year title drought.
“Recently, I’ve started supporting Arsenal. I do believe the odds are 50/50.
“I do believe Arsenal needs their advantage against Manchester City.
Carragher stated on Monday Night Football, “I believe City are stronger in many areas in terms of what they have got off the bench to impact a game, and I simply think that Arsenal need to go to the international break in the same situation.
