EPL Ten Hag names Manchester United’s biggest challengers in Premier League. The main competitors for Manchester United in the Premier League, according to manager Erik ten Hag, are teams like Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, and Newcastle.
Ten Hag urged any incoming Manchester United owners to invest in the team while appearing to neglect to mention Arsenal.
After leading Manchester United for 17 years, the Glazer family recently indicated that they would sell the club. Many Red Devils supporters believed that a change of ownership would help Manchester United finally win a trophy.
Ten Hag, who believes there might be as many as six clubs challenging his squad for the trophy, is well aware of how difficult it will be to end Man United’s nearly ten-year title drought.
In reference to Man United’s EFL Cup match against Burnley next Wednesday, Ten Hag coach told reporters that “there is a difference in conditions when you compare [the Premier League] with five or 10 years ago.” The opposition is far more fierce.
Even West Ham is coming; they may not be near the top of the table right now, but they have made a significant investment.
“Spurs without a doubt, and I won’t even bring up [Manchester] City, Liverpool, or Chelsea. Seven or eight clubs that are capable of competing in this league are easily counted.
Not just money is involved; strategy is as well. But it’s obvious that you won’t succeed and won’t meet your goals if you don’t have the correct players and quality athletes.
