EPL Guardiola is messing around – Gary Neville makes u-turn on Arsenal winning title. Gary Neville, a former captain of Manchester United, has finally agreed that Arsenal may win the Premier League because Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, is “messing around” too much with his side.
Neville has consistently supported City to keep their championship and believed Arsenal would falter.
Even that United will finish ahead of the Gunners was prophesied by him.
However, despite their 1-0 loss to Everton last Saturday, Neville has already changed his mind.
Do you know something? We watched the City game on Sunday, and when the team got through, I genuinely believed for the first time that Arsenal might win the league.
Neville remarked on the most recent episode of The Overlap, “And that’s not looking clever after the fact since City had lost, but I simply thought he [Guardiola] is fiddling around, he’s experimenting far too much.”
Mikel Arteta’s team has played one fewer match than Arsenal, but they still have five more points than City at the top of the standings with 50 points.
