The Spaniard, however, has remained adamant, condemning Tottenham Hotspur’s CEO and the others and asserting that should they be forced to compete in lower levels, they would call upon club icons.
He joked that “we will summon Paul Dickov and Mike Summerbee” when speaking to the media on Friday. He suggested they would visit the lower divisions like they had done previously.
When asked if other English Premier League teams were behind the accusations, Guardiola singled out Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham, responding, “Of course.
