EPL Bruno Fernandes finally reacts to reported face-off with Ronaldo. Bruno Fernandes, a midfielder for Manchester United, has downplayed rumors that he and Cristiano Ronaldo are at odds.
Ronaldo and Fernandes are teammates for Portugal and Manchester United, respectively.
And Ronaldo, 37, was apparently involved in a fight with Fernandes as they both prepared for the World Cup. Ronaldo looks to have played his final game for the Red Devils after openly criticizing his manager, Erik ten Hag, the club’s owners, the Glazers, and the hierarchy.
As a result of his participation in Manchester United’s 2-1 victory over Fulham over the weekend, Fernandes arrived in Portugal after Ronaldo had already left, and pictures and video of their encounter at the national team’s headquarters show the 28-year-old looking less than impressed.
Joao Mario, Ronaldo’s teammate, asserted that there had been no conflict between the two celebrities, saying that Ronaldo had playfully questioned Fernandes about whether he had arrived at the camp via boat.
Fernandes also supported Mario’s account of events on Tuesday night by tweeting: “Oh Joao Mario, there you are destroying the headlines!
