When Tottenham was eliminated from the Champions League on Wednesday, Ferdinand offered the advise.
After playing AC Milan to a scoreless draw in England after losing the first leg 1-0 in Italy, Tottenham was eliminated from the Champions League round of 16.
Spurs supporters would be hoping that Harry Kane is “that” person, no matter what happens in terms of silverware, remarked Ferdinand on BT Sport:
They’ll be hoping he wants to spend the remainder of his career as “Mr. Spurs.”
“I would be searching for other pastures to acquire some silverware if I were him. They just competed in the Champions League final and finished second in the league, but as a club, they are edging farther and further away from his ideal situation. He must go to the location where he believes he can win a trophy the quickest.
