I’m relieved – Man Utd forward, Mason Greenwood. Mason Greenwood, a forward for Manchester United, expressed his relief following the dismissal of the attempted rape and assault charges brought against him.
The arrest of Greenwood, 21, in January of last year followed allegations involving pictures and videos.
The Crown Prosecution Service clarified on Thursday that the charges against Greenwood were dropped when significant witnesses withdrew.
Greenwood did, however, make a brief statement following the news in which she expressed her relief that the problem was finally resolved and her gratitude to her friends, family, and loved ones for their support.
“At this time, no other remark will be made.”
