2023 AFCONQ Peseiro drops Ndidi, Lookman, Iheanacho for Guinea-Bisssu rematch. In preparation for tonight’s rematch against Guinea-Bissau in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying round, Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has made five adjustments to his starting lineup.
Peseiro has chosen a new center-back partnership of Kenneth Omeruo and Semi Ajayi while sticking with Francis Uzoho in goal.
Right and left backs Bright Osayi-Samuel and Zaidu Sanusi maintained their positions.
Wilfred Ndidi is replaced in the middle by Frank Onyeka of Brentford.
Alex Iwobi will be paired with Onyeka in the center of the pack.
Moses Simon, a winger from Nantes, France, is favored over Ademola Lookman, and Samuel Chukwueze retains his spot on the right wing.
Victor Osimhen will be attacked by Terem Moffi in a pair.
