2023 AFCON Qualifier Super Eagles vs Guinea-Bissau double-header get date. The Confederation of African Football has set the dates for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Djurtus of Guinea-double-header Bissau’s qualifying match for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (CAF).
On March 24, the opening leg will take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
On Tuesday, March 28, the reverse match will be place in Marrakech, Morocco.
Guinea-Bissau lacks a playing surface that has been certified by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), hence the match cannot take place there.
The Super Eagles defeated Sao Tome and Principe and Sierra Leone in their opening two matches in the qualifying tournament.
With victories in both games (against Guinea-Bissau), Jose Peseiro’s team will have two games remaining to secure its spot in the 2023 AFCON.
Following the hosting of the 1984 edition, Cote d’Ivoire will once again serve as the competition’s host.
