Tinubu appoints new CEO for Agric Development Fund

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Muhammed Abu Ibrahim as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF).

This announcement was made in a statement by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity. In the statement, the President urged the new appointee to work towards eliminating barriers that hinder efficient access to provisional funding in the agricultural sector, ensuring that stakeholders across the country can contribute to the Renewed Hope Agenda’s mandate on agriculture. The goal is to attain complete self-sufficiency in local food production and eventually have a surplus for export.

The appointment of Mr. Muhammed Abu Ibrahim is effective immediately.
