NYCN hails President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on historic win. The newly elected president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has received praise from the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) for winning the election that took place on February 25, 2023, a Saturday.
The former governor of Lagos State’s triumph, according to NYCN’s congratulations sent to DAILY POST on Wednesday, is a testament to his decades of unwavering leadership and selfless commitment in democratic practice.
The National Public Relations Officer of the Council, “Dotun Omoleye,” said in a statement on behalf of NYCN National President Sukubo Saraigbe Sukubo that the youths had reacted enthusiastically to Tinubu’s win.
“The young of Nigeria are confidence in the President-extraordinary elect’s ability to include the youth population in imaginative and other resourceful endeavors to lower the bar of insufficient jobs, combat insecurity, and stimulate the intellectual endowments essential to build our country.
The NYCN pleaded on the President-elect to take action right now to address the threats that have posed insurmountable obstacles to our creative endeavors by establishing a strategic alliance with the private sector, which continues to be the largest employer in any nation.
Also, we beg the new President to carry out the crucial provisions of his platform that deal with student loans and the pledge to ensure a smooth academic schedule.
The initiatives, according to the Council, are essential for supporting the education of young people from fragile households and also act as a catalyst for inspiring young people to be successful and forge close relationships with their country as responsible citizens.
“While giving the new administration our unwavering support, we encourage the President-elect to work closely with other co-contestants in an effort to lead an inclusive government and bring the country together,” the letter reads.
