Biography
Kevin De Bruyne was born on 28 June 1991 to the family of Herwig De Bruyne and Anna De Bruyne in Drongen, Ghent, Belgium. He is currently Thirty-one years old. De Bruyne is a Belgian professional footballer and plays the role of a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City and the Belgium national team. He is globally known and seen as one of the best players in the world. According to Pundits De Bruyne is a “complete footballer”.
De Bruyne started his football career at Genk. De Bruyne was a regular player in Genk which made the club to win the 2010–2011 Belgian Pro League.

Early Life & Education
Kevin De Bruyne was born on June 28, 1991, in Drongen, Ghent, Belgium, to the family of Herwig and Anna De bruyne spent early few years of his life travelling through England and Africa, due to his mother’s background. His father was involved in the oil investment business and hence his family was almost always on the move due to business purposes.
DE bruyne started football at the age of four years while he lives in his hometown of Drongen, Ghent, Belgium. De bruyne also plays football in school. One of the biggest early motivations for De Bruyne was the fact that Belgian football was in a very pathetic condition when he was growing up.

In 2008-2009, De Bruyne was selected for the first team squad in Genk and made his appearance but was only able to organize himself in the team by the upper year.

In October 2011,De bruyne scored his first hat-trick for Genk in a match winning performance against Club Brugge.

In 2015, rumored had it that English club Manchester City was monitoring De bruyne and approached him two consecutive times before he finally accepted their offer in August 2015.
Towards the end of August, official announcement was made by Manchester City that they had acquired De bruyne for a six years contract. He was purchased for an amount of 55 million pounds, making him the second costliest purchase by any English club.
He scored in almost all his first few games for MC and in October 2015, it was spread all over the media that he was being considered for a Ballon D’or award. He played a major role in getting his team to the finals of the Football League Club. But unprecendented injury occured in the semi-finals which made him to take break from the field for next two months.
In April 2016, he came back stronger ahead of the UEFA Champions League and he went forward to score goals in order to lead his team to the semi-finals, which made it the first time that Manchester City had reached this far in Champions League.
