Biography
Mehdi Taremi was born on 16 July 1992 in Bushehr, Iran to the family of Alireza Taremi and Nosrat Farshid. Taremi is currently Thirty years old. He is an Iranian professional footballer and plays the role of forwarder for Iran national football team F.C Porto.
Mehdi Taremi started his football career at Shahin Bushehr and Iranjavan. Taremi is known for his extraordinary dribbling skills.

Career
Mehdi Taremi started his football career at Shahin Bushehr before moving to Iranjavan’s youth Academy.
In 2010,He joined Shahin Bushehr and In 2013, he moved to Iranjavan where he signed a two-year contract until the end of the 2014-2015 season. He won the league’s top goal-scorer after Mokhtar Jomehzadeh when he scored 12 times in 22 appearances in 2013-2014.
In 2014, He joined Persepolis FC on a two-year contract. He made his debut in a 1-1 draw with Naft Tehran, where he came on as a substitute in the 90th minute for Reza Norouzi.
On August 15 2014, He scored his first goal for the club in a 1-0 win against Zob Ahan .
On January 8, 2018, He signed an 18-month contract with the Qatari club Al-Gharafa before joining Portuguese Club Rio Ave on July 23, 2019.
On August 23, 2019, He scored a hat trick in his first Primeira Liga match for the club in a match against C.D Aves. He finished his first season with 18 goals, the same as the likes of Pizzi and Carlos Vinicius.
In August 2020, He signed a four-year deal with the Portuguese club FC Porto. He scored his first goal for the club in a 3-1 home win against Portimonense on November 8, 2020.
