Hoodlums burn down INEC office in Enugu. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Enugu State’s Igboeze North Local Government Area has been destroyed by thugs.
According to information obtained by thecityforbes, the event happened on Sunday night when the arsonists attacked the office located at the council’s Ogurute headquarters.
At the time of publication, attempts to contact ASP Daniel Ndukwe, the state‘s police public relations officer, had been unsuccessful.

Additionally, it was learned that previous attacks on local government facilities had been carried out by unidentified gunmen spreading havoc in the southeast.
Remember that the state government recently banned commercial motorcycle riders from the Igboeze North and neighboring Igboeze South LGAs and set a curfew from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
