The two-time mother was apprehended while accompanying her team to perform her civic duty.
Funke Akindele was seen while performing her civic responsibilities at her polling place in Lagos with her crew. Funke Akindele has been on and off social media following the death of her mum.
The actress shared the video on her Instagram page and asked Nigerians to do their civic duties.
“My vote will count,” she wrote. I just cast my ballot. Allahu akbar, Nigeria. God be with us everyone.
Remember that Olubunmi Akindele, the actress’s sister, made a formal statement on Instagram on February 7th informing followers of Funke’s mother’s passing.
Funke hasn’t been in front of the public since the incident.
