Crown Uzama, known by his stage name Shallipopi, a sensational singer, has encouraged his fellow artists to follow the example of Grammy-winning star Wizkid in terms of their behavior on social media in order to maintain their stardom.
He emphasized that artists who are overly vocal tend to diminish their value. Shallipopi expressed this view during a recent interview with 78 Factory, stating, “To stay relevant, you stay silent. When you talk too much, you lose value. Let your music and your success speak for you, just like Wizkid.”
In addition, the Edo-born singer revealed in the interview that his music genre is not afrobeats but rather “afro-pluto.”
It’s worth noting that Shallipopi gained significant online attention after his song “Elon Musk” went viral. He later released a remix of the song featuring Zlatan Ibile and Fireboy DML, which further solidified his stardom.
