‘DNA test for Mohbad’s son has to be done in my presence’ – Late singer’s father

Mr. Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian rapper Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has insisted that a DNA test on his grandson must be carried out in his presence.

There has been a public debate in Nigeria regarding the paternity of the late rapper’s son, Liam, with many calling for a DNA test to determine the child’s true parentage.

In a recent interview with Stams TV, Mr. Aloba emphasized that conducting a DNA test on his grandson is of utmost importance, as it has become a matter of national concern.

Addressing rumors that a DNA test had already been performed, he made it clear that such a test cannot be conducted without his consent. He insisted that he must be present during the DNA test or send a representative in his place. Furthermore, he suggested that the DNA test should be conducted at two different hospitals to ensure the accuracy of the results.

Mr. Aloba stated, “Concerning the DNA test, it’s a must they do it. Nigerians are demanding for it. I heard rumors that they did it, but no matter what, I’m Mohbad’s father, so I’ll give consent for the DNA test or send someone to represent me during the test if I can’t be there to ensure the process is carried out properly. And even when they do it, it should be done at two different locations to confirm the truth.”

He also shared his willingness to accept the child if the DNA test confirms that Liam is Mohbad’s son. However, he stressed the importance of resolving the paternity issue for the child’s future and to prevent potential future disputes.
