Phyna took to her social media page to question why she was receiving hate from the singer. In response, Davido claimed that he didn’t know who she was and that his actions were an honest mistake.
Davido’s response created a division among their respective fan bases, with his supporters praising him for putting Phyna in her place, while her fans criticized him for denying the reality star who emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija in 2022.
On the following day, Phyna revealed that she had been subjected to numerous death threats due to the online dispute with Davido. She shared on her social media platform, “I keep getting death threats oh. I’m not an artist, please don’t harm me. Everyone should stay in their lane. God is greater than human beings.”
