Samuel Oguachuba, the well-known record producer recognized as Samklef, has responded to the allegations made by singer Davido, accusing him of leaking a video featuring Davido, his wife Chioma, and their newborn twins leaving the hospital in Atlanta, USA.
This controversy, as reported by The City Forbes, was initiated when Samklef shared the said clip.
In a video message shared on his Instagram page, Samklef vehemently denied being responsible for leaking the video and expressed his disappointment with Davido’s reaction, describing it as “pathetic and childish.”
He emphasized that he and Davido were not equals in the music industry, as he had been a part of it long before Davido’s rise to fame.
Samklef stated, “First of all, I’ve never posted anything negative about you, Davido. But today, Davido, you allowed your emotions… You came to my timeline to disrespect me. First and foremost, we are not mates. You met me in the [music] industry. We’re not mates. If you’re Davido, you’re Davido for yourself. We’re celebrating your good news. Do you want to intimidate me? You come to my timeline to say I’m wicked, I’m a clout chaser. Then what are you? Are you not a clout chaser? What have you been doing all your life? You think I’m afraid of you? I’m trying to be respectful but you don’t want to respect yourself.”
He further inquired about the identity of the person who recorded and leaked the video, asserting that this individual was from Davido’s circle, and questioned why Davido chose to blame him instead.
