Tinubu’s victory Peter Obi files suit at Presidential election tribunal

Tinubu’s victory Peter Obi files suit at Presidential election tribunal. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP) in the recently completed election, has filed a lawsuit before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja challenging the election commission’s designation of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the victor.

According to the petition seen by DAILY POST, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Bola Tinubu, and the All Progressives Congress are the defendants, while the plaintiff is Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP.

Remember that on Wednesday, Tinubu was proclaimed the winner of the presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC. The certificate of return had also been given to Tinubu by the election commission.

Obi claimed to have won the 2023 presidential election, nevertheless.

He claims that his mandate was stolen and that the only way he can get it back is by going to court.

The former governor of Anambra State reportedly participated in a global news conference on Thursday, according to DAILY POST.

“We’ll investigate every available legal avenue to reclaim our mission. The election went our way. Nothing can stop me from working for a brighter future for the nation, he declared.
