You are irrelevant without your father’s name – Peter Okoye slams Seun Kuti. Seun Kuti, a musician from Nigeria and the youngest son of the pioneer of Afrobeat, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has said that without the name of his father, he is meaningless in the ongoing debate regarding political support in the 2023 elections, according to Nigerian artist Peter Okoye.

In a string of tweets published on his Twitter account on Wednesday, Peter attacked Seun.

Seun got into trouble when he called Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, an opportunist.

After a back-and-forth in which Seun accused Obi and his twin brother of supporting President Buhari in 2015, Peter Okoye had jumped to Obi’s defense.

Peter said, “We PSQUARE have never before campaigned for any Presidential candidates other than PETER OBI. Yes, we gave a performance during President Buhari’s inauguration in 2015. He was already in that position. GO CHECK IT OUT.

“My late Father was unknown, but now everybody is familiar with the OKOYES. I’ll see whether you’re relevant if you attempt to take the “KUTI” out of your name, dude.

“Remain in your local SHRINE while others and individuals like us continue to succeed globally. THE SHAMELESS CAN’T BE SHAMED BY YOU.

You never had a career in music to begin with. All you do is boast about your ancestry.
