The former vice president of the United States, Mike Pence, who is also thinking about running for president in 2024, spoke to a different conservative gathering in Washington a few hours before Trump took the stage at the right-wing America First Policy Institute.
Pence downplayed disputes with Trump during his speech at the Young America’s Foundation conference, saying that Americans should turn to the future rather than the past.
