Ghanaian dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., popularly known as Shatta Wale, expressed concern over the declining state of Ghana’s music industry compared to the upward trajectory of Nigerian music.
The self-proclaimed ‘King of African dancehall’ highlighted the challenging competition faced by Ghanaian musicians in keeping pace with their Nigerian counterparts.
He emphasized the notable disparity in growth between the music industries of the two countries. Shatta Wale shared on his social media handle that while Nigerian music is on the rise, Ghana’s music appears to be on a downward trend, indicating a significant contrast in their respective trajectories.
