Biography
Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly was born 15 June 1992 to the family of Salah Ghaly, in Nagrig, Basyoun, Egypt. he is currently thirty years old. Mohamed Salah is also known as Mo Salah; he is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays the role of forwarder for Premier League club Liverpool and as well captains the Egypt national team.
Mohamed Salah is perceived as one of the best players in the world and amongst the greatest African players of all time, he is known for his finishing, dribbling, and speed. He started playing football at a very young age with friends.
In 2010, Salah started his senior career by playing for Al Mokawloon, and departing in 2012 to join Basel, where he won two Swiss Super League titles.

Mohamed Salah signed his first contract when he was 14 years old with El Mokawloon, or the Arab Contractors Sporting Club. Salah travelled and spent up to nine hours on the road in order to train with the team in Cairo.
However, he spent only about two hours a day in school because he combines school and football, therefore he had to share the time into two.

Mohamed Salah and his wife Maggi Salah both gave birth to two lovely girls named Makka and Kayan, They were born in 2014 and 2020 respectively. The first daughter, Makka was named in honour of the Islamic holy city of Mecca. Salah is a Muslim and celebrates goals by performing the sujud.
During his goal celebration, Mohammed Salah told CNN, “It’s something like praying or thanking God for what I have received, but yeah, it’s just praying and praying for a win. I’ve always done that since I was young, everywhere.”

During his time in Egypt, Salah’s family was once robbed, although, the thief was later caught and arrested by police, with Salah’s father preparing to press charges against him, but Mohamed convinced him to drop the case. Later on, Salah helped the thief financially, by giving him some money and trying to find him a job, in other to be useful and stop stealing.
In February 2018, following a match against Tottenham, Mohamed Salah donated a replica shirt to young supporter Mohamed Abdel Karim, who was previously pictured wearing a jumper reading Salah’s name and shirt number.
Source had it that, Mohamed Salah has helped more than 450 families by giving them monthly allowances and he also helped the government by giving approximately $300,000 when the country was experiencing an economic crisis.
On 13 August 2022, when a fire broke out at Abu Sefein Church in Giza, Egypt, with 41 people losing their lives as a result. Salah consciencly expressed his condolences on Twitter and made a donation of three million Egyptian pounds to help rebuild the church.
Career
Salah plays a significant role in Basel’s 2012-2013 ‘Swiss Super League Championship’ victory, and an outstanding performance in the Swiss Cup, where they finished as runner up.
In the beginning of the next season, Salah became part of the Basel squad that won the ‘Uhren Cup.’
