The popular skit maker and content creator, Abdulgafar Ahmad Oluwatoyin, widely known as Cute Abiola, has refuted reports claiming that he purchased a brand new car for the father of the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Several blogs had recently reported that the comedian had bought “a new Lexus car worth N20 million for Mohbad’s dad.”
Cute Abiola, in response, clarified through a video message shared on his Instagram page that he did not purchase a car for Mr. James Aloba, nor did he make any promises to the late singer’s father about a car.
He stated, “Let me immediately clarify this rumor. I never bought a car for Mohbad’s dad. And I never even promised him a car, let alone saying I bought him a car… Buy a car for Mohbad’s dad for what?”
Cute Abiola mentioned that these rumors were the work of mischief makers and cautioned them to stop using his name for clout.
