A few days before the election, Desmond Elliot, the Lagos state legislator who represents the Surulere I seat, donated transformers. An on-air celebrity in Nigeria by the name of Do2dtun has responded to this.
Desmond, a candidate for a third term as a congressman in Lagos, gave transformers to his district on Thursday.
Desmond stated he had commissioned the installation of high capacity transformers in Surulere in a tweet published on social media announcing the commissioning of the transformers.
In Surulere, new high-capacity transformers have been erected, giving dependable energy to villages that have long needed it, the official declared.
Do2dtun responded via a message on his Twitter account, saying the congressman was merely making the gift to purchase the support of his constituents.
