Acting alone can’t buy a house – Actress Angela Okorie calls out female colleagues

Acting alone can’t buy a house – Actress Angela Okorie calls out female colleagues. Angela Okorie, a well-known Nollywood actress, has warned her female counterparts in the business to quit claiming that their extravagant lifestyles are the result of their performing alone.

Angela described how many up-and-coming actresses, who have only featured in five films, flaunt houses and attribute their pricey goods to the profession.

In an interview with Factory 78, the actress mentioned that many of her coworkers have additional side jobs to pay for their opulent lifestyles.

“Talking about how women are making more money than men, it’s not like men aren’t making money, but people should stop lying,” she remarked. These women should all quit lying. You haven’t even been in Nollywood for a year. You’ll show up and tell everyone you recently acquired a house while lying. Please let me know what funds you used to purchase the home.

“And you’ll let them know they’re paying you, too. Oga, you don’t make more money than I do. You haven’t even completed up to 10 movies, last I saw. Considering that you have only completed five visuals and claim to have purchased a home, how do you wish to compare yourself to someone who has completed more than 200 visuals? Simply said, you two should quit lying.

“You can’t claim that the funding for your home purchase came from the film industry. You should include any work you do to make money if you have any.
