You selected yourself, not re-elected – Falz reacts to Sanwo-Olu’s appreciation post. Folarin Falana, better known by his stage name Falz the Bad Guy, has responded to Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the just re-elected governor of Lagos State, thanking him for his service.
In a statement uploaded on his official Twitter account on Monday, Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his gratitude to the people of Lagos for their support.
“I’m profoundly appreciative for the overwhelmingly positive support and faith of the wonderful people of Lagos State,” he stated. I’m honored to have been chosen to serve as your governor once again, and I swear to keep working nonstop to make Lagos a better place for everyone. I appreciate your faith in me.
Falz responded to this by quoting the tweet and claiming that everyone had witnessed the voting irregularities take place and that Sanwo-Olu was merely deluding himself.
“You weren’t elected again. You made the decision. Everyone watched it happen. You are merely fooling yourselves, he declared.
