ZicSaloma, a well-known skit maker and singer, shared that pursuing a career in entertainment wasn’t supported by his family, except for his mother.
Recalling his upbringing, he mentioned that his four brothers discouraged his musical aspirations. They went as far as destroying his music cassettes to deter him from pursuing music.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, he revealed that even when he delved into content creation, his family remained unsupportive.
Despite their lack of belief in his talents, he acknowledged that he has now become a pivotal figure in the family, referring to himself as “the chief cornerstone.”
Despite the lack of support from most family members, he held on to his passion and determination to make a name for himself in the entertainment industry.
