World Cup Bellingham’s mentality not normal – Yaya Toure warns England over another ‘Dele Alli’. Yaya Toure, a Manchester City veteran, has warned England against Jude Bellingham becoming another Dele Alli.
Bellingham’s mindset is not typical for someone Bellingham’s age, according to Toure, who issued the warning ahead of England’s World Cup quarterfinal match against France on Saturday night.
Bellingham has been in fantastic form for England thus far in Qatar, contributing to the team’s three victories in four games.
As a result, the elite of Europe are all eager to capture the Borussia Dortmund offensive midfielder, with Liverpool looking to be in the lead to do so.
Toure has already cautioned England against Bellingham becoming their next Alli, a former Tottenham Hotspur star who debuted at a young age but has since seen his football career falter.
After failing to make an impression at Goodison Park, Alli is presently spending the 2022–2023 season on loan with Turkish club Besiktas from Everton.
Bellingham, according to Toure, “has been the star of all of England’s games.”
His timing on box-to-box sprints is impeccable, and he occasionally scores goals and makes passes.
He entered this competition [the 2022 World Cup] in good form and with the correct amount of confidence from Borussia Dortmund.
“I hope the media are careful with him because we experienced a situation similar to this a few years ago with Dele Alli, who occasionally had trouble being seen as a club and national team leader.
Bellingham’s growth requires everyone’s protection, since it is obvious that he has a promising future with England.
“At 19, his mentality—his intensity, his will to win—is not normal.”
