Andrej Kramaric, a striker for Croatia, believes Brazil will defeat Argentina to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Kramaric said that he will support Argentina at the World Cup because he admires Lionel Messi, the team’s captain.
In his fifth and last appearance in the ongoing quadrennial competition, Messi will lead Argentina.
At a pre-game news conference, Kramaric praised the forward for Paris Saint-Germain.
“I believe that Messi is the best player to ever play this game, according to 95% of players. We probably won’t see a player like him again, according to Kramaric (via Reuters).
“I am rooting for Argentina in that sense, but I think Brazil will win.”
