UCL Why Bayern Munich eliminated us from Champions League – PSG coach, Galtier. Christophe Galtier, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, has provided an explanation for why Bayern Munich eliminated his club on Wednesday from the Champions League.
On Wednesday night in Germany, Galtier witnessed Bayern Munich upset his club 2-0 in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 match.
Bayern won the first leg 1-0 in Paris to advance to the quarterfinals of the Champions League with a 3-0 aggregate victory.
During the game, Galtier told Canal+ that PSG’s loss against Bayern was caused by several significant absences as well as the substitution of two central defenders.
He mentioned how Bayern had dominated PSG in the opening leg of the Champions League.
“The labor is available, but there are a lot of significant absentees in the first and second legs.
Before the interval, we had to switch out two of our center defenders. It’s clear that this cost us a lot.
“Bayern dominated the first leg, but tonight we were a completely different team. Naturally, it’s not enough,” Galtier added.
