EPL Ten Hag picks Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement at Old Trafford. Manchester United is looking into the possibility of re-signing Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay.
After Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract expired on Tuesday night, Man United boss Erik ten Hag reportedly views former Red Devils player Memphis Depay as a successor.
As long as Barcelona allows the Netherlands international a free transfer in January, Man United will support Ten Hag’s pursuit of Depay.
Depay’s contract with Barcelona is slated to end in June 2023, therefore the club would be willing to release him.
After Qatar hosts the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Depay must make a choice.
The 28-year-old came very close to signing with Juventus last summer, but the Serie A giants rejected his €7 million annual demands.
