EPL He’ll become another Ronaldo – Boehly warned against signing Brazilian star. Stan Collymore, a former Liverpool player, has advised Chelsea not to sign Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain, according to Todd Boehly.
If Boehly brings Neymar to Stamford Bridge, Collymore thinks he’ll end up being another Cristiano Ronaldo.
This summer, Chelsea has been mentioned in connection with the Brazilian international.
Boehly reportedly has spoken with Neymar’s entourage and is interested in signing the attacker.
Collymore, a former Barcelona player, asserted in his blog for CaughtOffisde that Chelsea does not require Neymar.
Because of the playboy lifestyle that has always hung around Neymar, he stated, “My warning to a Premier League team would be to be wary because it might turn out to be another Cristiano Ronaldo and Man United problem.”
Chelsea, who seems to be the team most extensively connected (90min), doesn’t need him and neither Manchester club should sign him.
“I think Neymar is a fantastic player, but I think joining Chelsea would be a terrible move in my opinion because the Blues’ project is to build for the future, and if Neymar were to come to Stamford Bridge, you could just imagine that much of Graham Potter’s time in front of the media would be taken up with questions on the Brazilian,” the speaker continued.
The current PSG deal that Neymar is under will end in 2025.
In 2017, the 31-year-old moved from Barcelona to PSG.
