Work with Tinubu to move Nigeria forward – APC chieftain tells Atiku, Obi, others. Ambassador Abayomi Nurain Mumuni, a member of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council’s (PCC) Security and Intelligence Committee, has advised opposition candidates to embrace the president-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s olive branch that is being extended to them.
The former Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) candidate for governor of Lagos State in 2011 urged Alhaji Abubakar Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and other contenders to cooperate with Tinubu in order to advance Nigeria.
These revelations were stated in a statement that was released to DAILY POST on Friday and was signed by his media assistant Rasheed Abubakar.
He continued by expressing his faith in Tinubu to lead Nigeria’s growth and shared prosperity.
He then asked the opposition candidates, including Atiku, Obi, and others, to cooperate with Tinubu in order to advance the nation.
In the statement, Mumuni expressed happiness at having contributed to Tinubu’s achievement.
He asked the opposition candidates to cooperate with him and embrace the president-offer elect’s of an olive branch.
He characterized Tinubu’s triumph as merited and earned.
“I asked opposition candidates to embrace the president-president-elect elect’s is reaching out to them and cooperate with him,” Mumuni added.
“For him, the trip has been a long, arduous one. His campaign for president has been compared to the legendary match between Mohammed Ali and Joe Frazier in 1974. fascinating and challenging. It’s humbling that things went so nicely in the end.
“My uncle Asiwaju is really close to me. Since we always get along well, his success means a lot to me. I can vouch for his leadership, management, and listening abilities.
He will make a significant contribution to the growth of our country. He would also promote shared wealth and change Nigeria’s fortunes. He has demonstrated the ability to develop Lagos State and make it a center of attention.
“The Asiwaju I am familiar with has an open door policy. Moreover, Nigerians ought to assist him in his efforts to restore their faith in and build on the positive legacies of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
