You are a tribal bigot – Paul Okoye fires back at Brymo. Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi, better known as Brymo, a well-known singer and actor, has been labeled a tribal bigot by renowned Nigerian artist Paul Okoye, well known as Rudeboy of the PSquare.
Brymo, who has often expressed his opposition to voting for Peter Obi of the Labour Party for president because he is an Igbo guy, criticized the tribe in a Sunday message on Twitter.
“F*ck The Ndi Igbo,” he wrote. Forget about it.
Brymo was admonished by Paul Okoye, a fervent member of the Obedient movement, to watch his words in response to the anti-Igbo remark on his Twitter account.
He remarked, “Election will go, and everyone will move on. The general election on February 25th will come and go, and the people will return to their normal lives. Be careful what you preach.
But since you believe that you will gain attention by disparaging a certain portion of the nation and because some people are appreciating you, you have chosen to be a tribal bigot. I’m simply disappointed in myself as an artist.
