World Cup Nigerians rejoice as Davido returns to social media with Chioma. The news of the homecoming of Chioma Rowland and Davido, a well-known Nigerian artist better known by his stage name David Adeleke, has caused an uproar on the internet.
The musician tweeted “ETA 1hr #WorldcupQatar2022” in advance of his closing ceremony performance at the currently taking place 2022 World Cup.
On Sunday’s closing ceremony, Davido, who was scheduled to perform, shared his first set of social media images in weeks.
Since the passing of his only child, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in October, the musician has avoided social media and public appearances. He was last saw during his uncle Ademola Adeleke’s inauguration as governor of Osun State.
The singer’s return to social media, however, was welcomed news for many Nigerians and fans of the music legend throughout the world, and they couldn’t help but share their happiness on social media.
