He took full responsibility for what he had done, admitted that it had wounded her, and repeatedly apologized.
I concur that no one should be made to practice polygamy.
You and I both never agreed to it in the beginning, he wrote.
He stated in his letter that he will always love her and that his second marriage was not meant to denigrate or replace her.
