N-Power fraud D’Banj’s lawyer demands release, NASS probe. Oladapo Oyebanji, also known as D’Banj, is represented by Pelumi Olajengbesi, who has maintained that the musician is innocent of all charges brought against him by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related crimes Commission (ICPC).
The attorney pleaded for D’Banj’s release and requested that the National Assembly look into the accusations made against him.
He further urged the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to identify the people the singer is said to have conspired with.
Remember how the ICPC said in a statement on Wednesday that the musician was being held for allegedly diverting N-Power monies.
We, in the same vein, reaffirm that D’banj neither has such access nor has he conspired with any government authorities over any shady business. The very allegation is a nightmare that has to be put to rest with a declaration of D’banj’s absolute innocence.
