Masego Debuts New Single “Say You Want Me”

Masego Debuts New Single “Say You Want Me”. The next single from Masego is titled “Say You Want Me.” It’s the Grammy-nominated artist’s first new song since he and Devin Morrison dropped the cloying “Yamz” in November 2021.

Masego’s soft voice blends with the rising vocal skills of Destin Conrad, Ambré, Ari PenSmith, and Mannywellz on the Afro-R&B single, which was co-produced by P2J and E.Y.

“Two years I’ve been suffering, but (Aw yes) I battled for you properly,” Masego says on the catchy song, “I never want to see the day / That I’m not in yer light / In case I’m on my way / S.O.S. I’m on my way.”

A music video for “Say You Want Me” by Masego was made by Victor Alex Barco.

The first track from Masego’s next, unannounced album is called “Say You Want Me.”

It will be his first full-length release since Lady Lady in 2018, which was listed among the Best R&B Albums of that year by Rated R&B. The platinum-selling singles “Tadow” by FKJ and “Old Age” by SiR were included on the adored album.

Masego released his EP, Studying Abroad, in November 2020. The “Passport,” produced by D’Mile, and the “Mystery Lady,” featuring Don Toliver, were both part of the international set. The later song’s sales of more than 500,000 equivalent units earned it gold certification.

In May 2021, Studying Abroad was updated to Studying Abroad: Extended Stay, a premium edition. At the 2022 Grammy Awards, the longer version was up for Best Progressive R&B Album.

Masego enlisted Big Boi and J.I.D. for “Garden Party” the same year. Later, he made an appearance on the Black History Month single “Black Folk” by Tank and the Bangas. The song also includes Alex Isley.

Masego collaborated with Ambré on her EP 3000° and Robert Glasper on the stand-alone song “All Masks” and other projects.

Masego will begin his headline European tour on November 28. Tickets are offered on the website masegomusic.com.
