Justin Bieber sells music rights for $200m. Pop icon Justin Bieber sold his ownership stake in his record label and publishing company.

According to Hipgnosis Songs Capital, which is financed by Blackstone, Bieber surrendered his rights to the company.

The deal, which apparently has a value of over $200 million, has been a subject of rumors for some weeks.

The 28-year-old has now joined a who’s who of musicians who have lately made money off of their back catalogs, including Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan.
