Justin Bieber Has Returned To The Stage After Overcoming His Battle With Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. After winning his battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which left the singer’s entire right side of his face paralyzed for weeks, Justin Bieber has resumed performing.
Bieber performed at this year’s Lucca Summer Festival in Italy on July 31 for his first performance after announcing last month that his world tour would resume. He performed an uncut set of classics from his six-album discography, giving the impression that he was in good health.

“Luv u guys and I missed you,” Bieber said in the caption of an Instagram post featuring some images from the shoot.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome, according to the Mayo Clinic, “occurs when a shingles outbreak damages the facial nerve close to one of your ears.” After postponing the first leg of his North American “Justice” tour due to “illness,” Bieber received the diagnosis in mid-June. Bieber struggled to blink, smile, and move his right nostril in footage he posted on social media.
Later that week, he provided them with an update, reassuring them that “each day has gotten better” and mentioning how his Christian faith had helped him deal with the illness. Later, Usher would support Justin Bieber’s rehabilitation, stating in a recent interview that Bieber was “doing well” as he returned to his former self.
However, the whole North American leg of the “Justice” tour has been postponed; new dates are expected to be revealed in the near future. In the interim, Bieber is focused on the tour’s ongoing European leg, which resumes on Wednesday (August 3), as well as a subsequent one that will begin in January.
Trips to South Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK are also on his agenda. Tickets for performances in the UK, Europe, and Australasia are available here.
