Ari Lennox Has Released A New Song Entitled Hoodie. A new song by Ari Lennox, named “Hoodie,” has been made available after great anticipation. Elite co-wrote and produced the seductive song.
On the chorus, Lennox sings, “Can I Fit in That Hoodie / I’m Tryna Get in That Hoodie / Can I Fit in That Hoodie / I’m Tryna Play in That Hoodie.”
Age/sex/location, Lennox’s sophomore album, is due out on September 9 via Dreamville/Interscope Records. “Hoodie” is the album’s second single. Her 2019 debut, Shea Butter Baby, will be followed by the 12-track album.
Bryan-Michael Cox, Elite, and Jermaine Dupri co-produced the album’s first official single, “Pressure,” which topped Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart and R&B radio in the winter. Additionally, it received a gold certification for selling more than 500,000 equivalent units in May.

It was made known that she and the once renowned hitmaker were writing the music for his Girls’ Night Out, his Capitol Records debut album, on which Lennox will appear.
She has continued to be active in the run-up to Lennox’s new single. She worked on EarthGang and Buddy’s separate projects together. From Dreamville’s D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape, she released two new songs.
Two new certifications from the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) were given out: a gold plaque for “Whipped Cream” and a silver plaque for “On It” with Jazmine Sullivan.
Lennox also performed a classic Queen song for Coca-“Real Cola’s Magic” advertising campaign. She also collaborated with Summer Walker on the song “Unloyal,” which peaked in the top 10 of the R&B charts.
Lennox will perform on September 18 at the 107.5 WGCI Summer Jam in Hazel Crest, Illinois. Additional R&B performers include Keyshia Cole, dvsn, Tink, Chlöe, and others.
