Antisemitic Elon Musk unblocks Kanye West’s Twitter account

Nearly three weeks after being suspended due to antisemitic messages and remarks, Kanye Omari West, better known as Kanye West or Ye, the well-known American singer and fashion designer, had his Twitter account reinstated.

The musician posted on his Twitter account on Sunday night to confirm the situation, writing, “Testing Testing, Seeing if my Twitter is unblocked.”

Musk responded positively to this by writing, “Don’t murder what ye detest, Save what ye love,” in Ye’s comment area.

This occurs only 24 hours after Elon Musk, the new CEO of Twitter, restored former US President Donald Trump. Trump had been suspended in January 2021, immediately following the Capitol riot, for breaching the social media platform and for the potential to further encourage violence.

Last month, Kanye West decided to buy the Parler social network, which has a libertarian bent.

Days after Kanye’s Instagram and Twitter accounts were briefly suspended due to a slew of messages that were deemed to be anti-Semitic, the firm made the statement.
